How to prepare teeth for dental veneers
Dental veneers are minimally invasive adhesive restorations with high esthetic value. There are minimal preparations limited to dental enamel or even without touching the tooth surface with “additional” restorations (“no-prep” technique).
To regain a perfect smile in the vast majority of cases, a half-millimeter thickness of ceramic, such as contact lenses, is sufficient.
The “no-prep” technique involves applying veneers to teeth without filing the teeth in any way. But only by conditioning their surfaces with special adhesives.
